SINCE 1971

Since 1971, a trip to the Old Delmae has been a neighborhood tradition that continues to this day, even as we begin our 51st year in a brand-new building.

What keeps our neighbors coming back time after time? It could be our burgers, hand-pattied daily with freshly-ground hamburger from our local butcher shop, Ole Timey Meats. For many, it is one—or two—of our famous, old-fashioned, red hot dogs, recently voted best in the Pee Dee. Our regulars order both their burgers and hot dogs “all the way,” which at Old Delmae means chili, mustard and onions, but there are plenty of other toppings available as well. And you can’t go wrong adding our fresh-cut fries or homemade potato chips to any of our burgers, dogs and sandwiches.

Today Old Delmae is the neighborhood grill—serving breakfast, lunch and dinner—but it started as the neighborhood corner grocery and gas station. We stay true to those roots by offering a convenient assortment of bottled drinks, beer, candies and snacks. And our ethanol-free, super grade fuel is a favorite of car owners and small engine operators alike.

We are in a brand-new building, but our traditions are 51-years old and we hope that today’s visit will be the start of a new tradition for you and your family as well.
