WHAT’S NEW AT THE OLD DELMAE?

We’re all about fresh at Old Delmae: fresh-pattied burgers, fresh-cut fries and chips… so it only made sense that we offer fresh-ground coffee, right? The funny thing is, to offer something as seemingly old-fashioned and simple as a fresh-ground cup of coffee, we had to get downright modern. We’re not talking about hiring a “barista” and calling our drink sizes weird names like tall or grande. No, we’re still proudly a small, medium, large kind of place. We had to add a robotic coffee machine that is just a few short leaps from R2D2. You simply make your coffee choice (medium or dark roast) and size, put in the cup, and it does the rest, freshly grinding each individual cup! And it makes hot chocolate, too, for you non-coffee drinkers. Employee reviews of both the coffee and hot chocolate have been very positive and we can’t wait for you to give it a try.

Now don’t worry, this isn’t the first chapter in a Terminator scenario where the computers replace the people, because although it’s really simple for our customers, it’s still requires a good bit of behind the scenes work by us humans.

So when the new Old Delmae opens, in just a few short days (!!!), you can add fresh-ground coffee to your list of fresh Old D favorites.
